Meeting Description

Who

People who love web development enough to discuss it over coffee.

Why

Why not?

Organized by

"I'll have a MacBook Pro with me."
--Brennan Dunn

Details

Discuss topics forbidden at (most) American dinner tables.

Do you love talking about design patterns, the pros and cons of threading, the fastest language to construct fibonacci sequences, and how management doesn't understand anything?

If so, join me and others at the Starbucks at Greenbrier and get your nerd on.

Brennan, Thanks for putting this together. I'm looking forward to the next one. Can't wait to see what Jen comes up with.

Brandon, I don't intend in any way to make this a Ruby/Rails meetup (there's http://ruby.meetup.com/130/ for that). I just want to have a forum for developers of any level or skillset to organize. Please feel free to come if you can, and if you have any friends who might be interested, please spread the word!

Brennan, I'm interested in this but I have practically 0 experience in Ruby/Rails. You willing to sit around and chat with someone who will probably give you a bunch of quizzical looks?

"I think we really stayed on topic. We certainly covered a large spectrum of languages and discussed the merits and pitfalls of each."
