- Reusable P2P Components and LimeWire's Future
Growing LimeWire requires changing the fundamental core of it. We're picking apart the pieces creating separate open-source Java components for any developer to pick up and reuse. There's a separate RUDP layer (at the request of FreePastry devs), a separate Kademlia-based DHT called Mojito, a high-performance NIO layer, and we're still splitting the core apart into more pieces.
