“ I felt unwelcome. It's a good place to come if you want to share or learn new ideas, but it runs like a country club--a lot of things are not said. A little bit of upfront information about the presentation topics would have been nice, for instance. I had no idea what was going to be talked about or how long the meeting would last. And there could be a bit more focus on facilitating conversation among members rather than conversation between members and the presenter. That's just common sense. I don't like being lectured by a complete stranger, and I mainly want to make friends. Anyhow, hopefully they can get better in the future. ”
